BMT...? Yeah... Brandon Michael Turner! I love shooting photos... I've been behind the lens for over 15 years now. I started photographing when I was a young kid running around train yards on my BMX bike back in Westland Michigan. I found myself taking photos of graffiti on all the trains in the yard. Before I knew it... I was painting on the same trains I photographed as a little kid... Only now I was a teenager and I had my camera in the backpack waiting to snap a photo of my own work after it was finished. As the collection of photos got larger, I started shooting a lot more then just trains and graffiti. Detroit City was one of my second favorite places to shoot. I would hit the city a few times a week at all hours of the day... Mornings, afternoons, evenings and late nights. It was always a promising adventure. A few years after graduating high school... I knew it was time to make a huge change in my life with where I lived. I felt that I was supposed to be somewhere else doing more of the things I enjoyed doing. Now don't get me wrong, I love Michigan and I love the fact that I was born and raised in Westland...No doubt about it. It's just that it wasn't offering me the opportunities I dreamed about on the daily. I was tired of looking at magazines, movies and music videos saying... "I should be there... RIGHT NOW". On September 1st, 2008... My car was packed. I arrived to North Hollywood on September 4th. That's when BMTPhoto.com turned from a dream... into a reality.
